The Quénébro Argouseraie
a history of passion
The first meeting between Véronique Le Hégarat and Robert Perras goes back to 1984. This meeting was a milestone, but it did not prevent them from leaving, one in France, the other in Quebec. They met again 17 years later on a farm in Roxton Pond. The following year, Véronique and her three children settled in Quebec for good.
In 2003, the Des Cantons-Hertel line disrupted the young family’s plans for a farm. After extensive research, they finally found a new 44-hectare plot of land with lakes, waterways, forest, pasture, barn and house. An ideal place for a new, exciting, innovative culture…
Owners of the Farm since 2003, in 2007 we started the preparation of 15 hectares of land dedicated to our Sea Buckthorn Orchard. In 2008 the Argouseraie Quénébro was born, with the planting of a hundred Sea Buckthorn trees. Since then, more sea buckthorn trees are planted every year. We currently have about 7500 Sea Buckthorn plants.
